Job summary

Maxx Marketing Limited is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer in Hong Kong to lead new product development from concept through shipment. You will provide technical support and coordinate documentation while driving cost estimation, process optimization, and production efficiency.

The role requires strong communication in English and Mandarin and willingness to travel to China and overseas. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Project Engineer role.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the consumer retail toy and/or premium industry.
• In-depth knowledge of toy safety regulations (EN71, ASTM).
• Strong project management skills with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Creative, passionate, and possesses a strong market and visual sense.
• Proficient in CAD for product design and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead new item development from design to shipment.
• Prepare and compile necessary project documentation.
• Conduct cost estimation and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of product design and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze estimated vs. actual manufacturing costs and implement corrective actions.
