Maxx Marketing Limited is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer in Hong Kong to lead new product development from concept through shipment. You will provide technical support and coordinate documentation while driving cost estimation, process optimization, and production efficiency.

The role requires strong communication in English and Mandarin and willingness to travel to China and overseas. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Project Engineer role.

Formación

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the consumer retail toy and/or premium industry.
• In-depth knowledge of toy safety regulations (EN71, ASTM).
• Strong project management skills with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Creative, passionate, and possesses a strong market and visual sense.
• Proficient in CAD for product design and development.

Responsabilidades

The Project Engineer will lead new product development, provide technical support, and manage project documentation throughout the product lifecycle from design to shipment. This role will play a key role in cost estimation, process optimization, and production efficiency improvement while ensuring product quality and compliance with design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee new item development, ensuring smooth execution from design stage to shipment completion.
• Provide technical support, including preparing and compiling necessary project documentation.
• Conduct cost estimation and quotation, identifying cost reduction opportunities and implementing efficiency improvements in production.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of product design and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze estimated vs. actual manufacturing costs, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to optimize cost management.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the consumer retail toy and/or premium industry.

• Excellent communication skills, with high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Willing to travel to China and overseas as required.
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Senior Project Engineer role.
