Job summary

The University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Tenure-track Assistant Professor in International Governance of Frontier Technologies within the School of Governance and Policy (Ref.: 537338). The appointment is on a three-year fixed-term basis with renewal and potential tenure before a second three-year term.

The appointee will teach postgraduate courses on international relations, global governance and public policy, and contribute to research, programme development, and service duties.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in economics, public policy, politics, or closely related field.
• Proven track record or strong potential for research excellence and external funding.
• Experience teaching postgraduate courses in international relations, governance or policy.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses offered in postgraduate programmes related to international relations, global governance and/or public policy.
• Contribute actively to research and knowledge exchange, programme development at postgraduate level, and service/administrative responsibilities.
