Job summary

Delken Group Limited is seeking a Temporary Assistant Manager (Data Management) to join the Digitalisation Office in Central, HK. The role focuses on promoting end-to-end data management, governance, and data quality for the Enterprise Data platform.

You will deploy metadata management, design data access rights, and collaborate with Data Stewards, Data Architecture, and Platform Engineering to drive continuous improvement and adopt industry best practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in business information systems, information technology, computer science or related fields.
• Experience in data management and governance space.
• Experience in setting up data management and governance processes for enterprise (data access control, metadata management, data quality, data lineage).
• Ability to negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders of different backgrounds.
• Experience in establishing an Enterprise Data Catalogue with on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote end-to-end data management for data acquisition/processing, data quality and governance for Enterprise Data platform.
• Deploy a metadata management framework covering data lineage, access control, data catalogue, data encryption, anonymisation, etc.
• Design and support implementation of data access rights and data handling processes.
• Develop best practices for group data management and automate processes where possible.
• Work with Data Stewards to design and refine governance processes.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture and Platform Engineering to refine platform offerings and architecture.
• Act as change agent driving continuous improvement through education and feedback.
