Job summary

SGS Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Technical Services Executive (Chemical, Electrical and Electronic Technology) to provide technical support both internally and externally. You will review test results when clients question them and assist in new service development, with a focus on sustainability and hazardous substances.

You will also support external and internal seminars, prepare marketing materials, and undertake ad hoc projects as requested by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master in Chemistry or Environmental Science or related subject
• 3 years experience in business/service development, commercial laboratory or related industry
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Team player with proactive, organized, open-minded and independent attitude
• Can-do and follow-through spirit; able to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of restricted substances in consumer products is advantageous
• Proficient in PC operations
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin

Responsibilities

Assist in new service and total solution development especially related to sustainability and hazardous substances.

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master Degree or above in Chemistry or Environmental Science or relevant subject
• 3 years working experience in business/service development, commercial laboratory or related industry is preferred
• Good interpersonal skill and presentation skill
• Team player with proactive, organized, open-mind and independent attitude
• A can-do and follow-through spirit, able to meet tight deadline and work under pressure
• Solid knowledge on restricted substance requirement on consumer product is of advantage
• Proficient in PC operations
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin
