Job summary

The Asian Academy of Family Therapy Limited is seeking a Technical Officer to manage AV setup and live event operations in Hong Kong. You will configure microphones, projectors, speakers and video monitors, and perform real-time audio mixing and camera/lighting control.

Responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting AV signals, recording/ editing case session videos, maintaining IT systems, and coordinating with vendors for equipment service. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in AV production, IT or related discipline.
• Good knowledge of AV software and IT equipment.
• Willing to work shifts including weekday evenings and Saturdays; Sundays/public holidays may be required for events.
• Good problem-solving ability and sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining detailed logs of equipment inventory and scheduling repairs with external vendors when necessary

Required Skills & Qualification

Applicant should possess a Higher Diploma or above in AV production, information technology (“IT”) or other related discipline, preferably with work experience in related field.

Good knowledge of AV software (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, editing suites) and IT equipment, and sound knowledge of program skills

Good problem-solving ability, ability to work under pressure, and a strong sense of responsibility

Willing to work shifts including weekday evenings and Saturdays. Work on Sundays or public holidays may be required in case of special events
