Job summary

Smartdeer Services Centre in Hong Kong seeks a senior technology leader to drive the AI and data security strategy and R&D direction. You will guide the tech roadmap and build a high-caliber team to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable data platforms and products.

You will collaborate with Product, Business, Compliance and Customer Success to ensure data security across cross-border HR scenarios, and participate in technical discussions with key customers, design solutions and support

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in CS, SE, InfoSec, or related field.
• 10+ years in technology R&D and 5+ years in technical team management.
• Experience as Technical Lead, R&D Director, CTO, CEO, or equivalent.
• Fluent in Mandarin; English as business language; Cantonese a plus.
• Strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, cross-cultural communication, strong execution.
• Willing to travel occasionally outside Hong Kong.

• Establish and improve the R&D management system, covering requirements, architecture, development, testing, release, operations and maintenance, and security audits.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, Compliance, and Customer Success teams to support data security and compliance requirements in cross-border HR scenarios.
• Participate in technical discussions with key customers, solution design, and pre-sales support, and maintain customer relationships.
• Build, recruit, develop, and manage the technical team to enhance delivery and innovation capabilities.

About you

Experience as a Technical Lead, R&D Director, CTO, CEO, or in an equivalent management position is preferred

Fluent in Mandarin; English as a business working language; Cantonese is a plus

Possess strategic thinking, an entrepreneurial mindset, cross-cultural communication skills, and strong execution ability

Able to accommodate occasional travel outside Hong Kong
