Reporting to the AI leadership, you will guide cross-functional teams, translate priorities into a practical roadmap, ensure adoption and reliable operations, and advise senior stakeholders on AI investments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines.
• 10+ years hands-on end-to-end development of ML/AI products and services.
• High level leadership and experience deploying ML solutions.
• Hands-on leader with team-building, attention to detail and strong communication.
• Experience with predictive analytics, ML, optimization and agile product development.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

Our client is seeking a senior leader to turn data science and AI capabilities into practical, measurable business outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape how an established financial services business develops, deploys and scales AI, bringing together advanced analytics, machine learning and generative AI.

About the Role

Working with the organisation's senior AI leadership, you will guide multidisciplinary teams and help translate enterprise transformation priorities into a focused delivery agenda. Your remit will span strategy, solution engineering and AI product development, with an emphasis on business adoption, reliable operations and responsible delivery. Translate business priorities into a practical roadmap for data science, advanced analytics and AI. Align stakeholders around the initiatives with the strongest potential to create impact. Bring together specialists across data science, machine learning, analytics and AI product development. Set clear expectations, strengthen collaboration and build a culture focused on delivery and business value. Oversee the full development journey, from problem definition and model experimentation through evaluation, deployment and ongoing improvement. Lastly, guide the development of enterprise AI products with clear ownership, lifecycle management and a focus on adoption, performance and evolving business needs. Lastly, become a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, helping them identify relevant use cases, understand delivery trade-offs and evaluate the value of AI investments.

The successful candidate

• Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or other closely related disciplines preferred
• At least 10+ years of hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end development of machine learning and artificial intelligence (A.I.) products and services required
• High level leadership skills and prior experience of managing the creation and deployment of Machine Learning solutions
• A hands‑on leader who has excelled at building teams who have strong organization skills, attention to detail, tenacity for success, and excellent communication skills
• Strong experience in predictive analytics, machine learning, optimization, and agile product development
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and emerging AI technologies
• Good command in English and Chinese
