Job summary

Synechron APAC Quant Solutions team seeks a Technical Engineer focused on ultra‑low latency equities trading. You will translate requirements into changes in the trading stack, coordinate with exchanges, vendors and clients, and work with network teams to shape the architecture. You will partner with production services for platinum client support.

The role covers cross‑regional collaboration across APAC and socializing best practices with global teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Python and Unix/Linux development in low-latency contexts.
• Strong FIX messaging experience in electronic trading.
• Familiar with trading tech including FPGA and low-latency networks.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and tech requirements into changes in the low-latency stack.
• Coordinate technical changes with vendors, exchanges, carriers and clients.
• Collaborate with network and infra teams on architecture decisions.
• Provide third-level support for clients with production services team.
• Build relationships with regional/global tech and business stakeholders.
