Job summary

IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED in Hong Kong is seeking a Technical Engineer to translate business and technology requirements for new functionality, venues, and upgrades into changes within our low-latency trading stack. You will coordinate and manage technical changes with vendors, stock exchanges, carriers, and clients, and work with network and infrastructure teams to influence network design.

The role also involves providing third-level platinum support with the production services team, building

Qualifications

Strong Python and Unix skills, including shell scripting.
Experience with FIX messaging in electronic trading.
Familiarity with trading tech: FPGA, low-latency networks, and exchange protocols.

Responsibilities

Translate business and technology requirements into technical changes in the low-latency trading stack.
Coordinate and manage technical changes with vendors, stock exchanges, carriers, and clients.
Work with network/infrastructure teams to influence network design based on application needs.
Provide third-level, platinum support with production services for clients.
Build relationships across APAC and collaborate with global teams to share best practices and standards.
