Job summary

Hohenstein Laboratories (Hong Kong) is seeking an energetic candidate to join our team as a laboratory technician. You will conduct testing on hardgoods, draft test results, and help maintain calibration of equipment while ensuring compliance with ISO 17025.

Requirements include a diploma or degree in related fields, 2 years of lab experience, and fluency in English and Mandarin. The role is based in Kwai Fong, HK, with opportunities for growth in a global testing network.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in product testing or related engineering disciplines.
• 2 years of laboratory operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality management preferred.
• Familiarity with European safety regulations for consumer goods.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to work independently.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).

To cope with our expansion, we are looking for a energetic and passionate candidate to join our Team.

What you will be doing?

• Conduct testing on hardgoods on including physical, safety, and functional performance with related international safety standards and specific safety requirements
• Draft and review test result of hardgoods
• Maintain stock on consumables and monitor environmental conditions of the laboratory
• Responsible for the calibration and maintenance of equipment
• Ensure the laboratory is operatedin accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025.

You need to be

• Diploma or degree in Product Testing, Applied Science, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics or related disciplines
• 2 year of experience in laboratory operations is preferred
• Knowledge and experience in quality management of ISO/IEC 17025 preferred
• Familiarity with European safety regulations of consumer goods and handling of international customers preferred
• Strong team spirit and good communication skills
• Initiative-driven, organized, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Less experienced candidates will be considered for the position of Assistant Technical Engineer
