Job summary

Intertek Greater China is seeking a testing engineer to perform electrical/electronic product evaluations in Hong Kong. You will ensure product quality across home appliances, entertainment electronics, power supplies, and more, while preparing reports and supporting customers.

A degree in relevant engineering fields and 1–2 years’ experience are preferred, with training provided as needed. Excellent communication in English and Mandarin is required, and fresh graduates or IANG applicants will

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Applied Physics or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or testing preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with good command of English and Mandarin.
• Conscientious with analytical mind and committed to test engineering.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Engineer.
• Fresh graduates and IANG applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and constructional evaluation for electrical/electronic consumer products per standards.
• Ensure quality of products such as home appliances and electronics.
• Prepare test reports and related technical documents.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
• Review reports and documents; on-the-job training provided as needed.

The Job

• Perform tests and/or constructional evaluation for various electrical/electronic consumer products according to National / International Standard / Requirements
• Safeguard quality on products like home appliances, home entertainment electronics, power supply, telecommunications & lighting devices, etc
• Prepare test reports and relevant technical documents
• Provide technical support to internal / external customers
• Review reports and technical documents (on-the-job training will be provided according to candidate’s experience)
• Working location: Lai Chi Kok / Fo Tan

The Person

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Applied Physics or any relevant / equivalent level
• 1-2 years' relevant experience in manufacturing or testing field is preferred
• Excellent in communication skills and good command of English & Mandarin
• Conscientious with analytical mind, initiated and committed to test engineering career
