Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably in insurance.
• Strong understanding of website development projects and digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations, web services, RESTful APIs, and system interfaces.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Proven experience managing external vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with UAT planning and execution.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a leading insurance company. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams to drive digital initiatives, website enhancements, and system integration projects.

Description

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Work closely with business users to understand processes, pain points, and digital transformation needs.
• Participate in website enhancement and digital platform projects.
• Analyze and define API integration requirements between internal and external systems.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FSD), user stories, and process flows.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, development teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage vendors to ensure project deliverables, timelines, and quality standards are met.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, UAT preparation, testing execution, and production rollout.

Profile

• Strong understanding of website development projects and digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience working with API integrations, web services, RESTful APIs, and system interfaces.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Proven experience managing external vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with UAT planning and execution.

Preferred Candidate:

• Exposure to insurance domains such as Policy Administration, Claims, Agency, Customer Portal, or Digital Platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or system integration projects is an advantage.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
