Job summary

REC Engineering Company Limited invites applications for a site engineer/technician role to supervise and inspect ongoing site works in Hong Kong. You will take measurements, prepare cost estimates, survey drawings, and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with plans and tests.

The position requires a Diploma/Higher Certificate in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with construction experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Certificate in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred experience in the construction field.
• Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD and Engineering Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and inspect site works.
• Take site measurements, prepare cost estimates and survey drawings, and maintain proper records for works and test reports.
• Handle and resolve site-related technical problems.
• Coordinate and liaise with the Client / Engineer's Representative.
• Inspect sample boards and materials for compliance with contract specifications and monitor proper site material usage.
• Check construction drawings and work programmes against actual site conditions and specifications.
• Keep site drawings and project documentation up to date.

• Holder of a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).
