Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited, a hospitality group with regional offices, seeks a technology-minded accountant to drive digital transformation and data-driven finance initiatives. You will contribute to Power BI reporting, automation projects, and finance system enhancements.

In this role, you will handle regional AP and general accounting, support month-end close, ensure controls, and partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows through technology.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of accounting experience in MNCs, shared service centres, regional offices or large organizations.
• Solid understanding of AP processes and general accounting principles.
• Tech-minded with strong interest in systems, automation, digitalization, and process improvement.
• Exposure to ERP systems, reporting tools, Power BI, Power Query, or finance transformation projects is highly preferred.
• Experience in system implementation, UAT, workflow automation, or AI-related initiatives would be an advantage.
• Proactive, adaptable, and open-minded with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and general accounting activities across regional entities.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Support financial reporting, accounting controls, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and business teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in finance system upgrades, process automation, and implementation projects.
• Support Power BI reporting, dashboard development, data analytics, and management reporting initiatives.
• Assist in AI, digital transformation, and continuous improvement projects within the finance function.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting capabilities through technology and automation.
