Job summary

Gain City Group of Companies is seeking a Finance Analyst to lead FP&A and budgeting, driving efficiency through automation and data-driven insights. The role bridges finance and IT, supports reporting, forecasting and analytics, and enhances visualization capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a business analytics background, 2+ years of experience, strong Excel/Power Query, SQL and Power BI skills, and a knack for improving financial processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business Analytics.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Query.
• SQL Functions & Queries is mandatory.
• Robust data analytics and visualization skills, preferably with Microsoft Power BI and Python.
• Experience dealing with databases is an advantage.
• C# experience desired but not a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A and budgeting activities for the Group.
• Report metrics, analyse methodologies, and propose improvements.
• Refine financial processes for efficiency opportunities.
• Contribute to UAT planning and validate outputs.
• Bridge the finance and IT teams to support automation.
• Think strategically about business and financial implications.
