What You'll Do

• Technical Ownership & Architecture: Own the full-stack architecture for mobile and backend systems. Make key technical decisions, drive system design, and balance speed to market with technical debt reduction.


• Cloud & Infrastructure: Drive cloud architecture on AWS. Manage, optimize, and scale core services while establishing infrastructure-as-code best practices.


• Team Coaching & Mentorship: Level up the engineering team through regular code reviews, pair programming, and tailored technical mentorship. Foster a culture of technical excellence and psychological safety.


• Product & Execution: Partner directly with Product, Design, and QA to refine product roadmaps, break down complex technical initiatives, and drive predictable agile delivery.


• Operations & Reliability: Oversee observability, logging, and incident response to maintain peak system reliability and low latency across all production environments.


• Security & Compliance: Ensure full-stack systems comply with security standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the Hong Kong financial and brokerage domain.

What We're Looking For

• Technical Leadership: Proven track record as a Senior Engineer or Tech Lead driving architectural decisions, owning codebases, and coaching mid/junior developers.


• Full-Stack Mastery: Modern TypeScript expertise across the stack, including React Native on the frontend, and Apollo or similar backend frameworks.


• AI-First & Modern Tooling: A forward-thinking development mindset, you reach for modern coding agents and AI-driven workflows.


• Hands-on AWS & IaC: Production experience provisioning and managing AWS resources (EC2, S3, IAM, VPCs) using IaC.


• API Design & Testing: Strong background designing, scaling, and securing REST and GraphQL APIs, along with an uncompromising commitment to automated testing (unit, integration, and E2E).


• DevOps Culture: Strong foundation in CI/CD pipeline design, Git workflows, and containerization.


• Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex technical decisions to business stakeholders and clearly communicate engineering vision to the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience within fintech, wealthtech, or the Hong Kong brokerage domain.


• Hands-on experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).


• Familiarity with Salesforce integrations or mobile app store release management.
