Job summary

Neurones IT Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a senior, hands-on .NET/C++ developer to lead its Asia Equity delivery team in Hong Kong. You will build and manage an agile team of 5–10 developers (C++, C#, and Java) delivering enterprise-scale solutions and guiding the regional IT strategy. You will drive modernization, cloud adoption, and DevOps practices.

The role requires deep domain knowledge in Equity Finance and Delta One, plus a track record of architectural leadership across global teams.

Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on technical lead in a global Capital Markets environment.
• Proven track record managing and delivering enterprise apps in a large financial services setting.
• Strong programming skills in C#, C++, Java, with enterprise web services experience.

The bank is looking for a senior, hands-on .NET/C++ developer to lead its Asia Equity delivery team. You will build and lead a new agile team of 5 to 10 C++ and C# developers while delivering solutions to the equity business yourself. The team contributes to the global equity business’s technical projects and platform transformation. You will adapt and roll out globally available capabilities to meet APAC-specific needs and contribute to the transformation of the Global Markets technical ecosystem. The team also supports and maintains the existing application stack in production.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on leadership to the Hong Kong development team, setting technical standards and leading by example.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing engineering culture that drives efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Take regional ownership of development, delivery, and production support (DevOps) for key global Equity business initiatives.
• Lead the deployment and adaptation of global Equity Finance and Delta One capabilities across the Asia region.
• Contribute to the global Equity IT transformation roadmap and strategic technology initiatives.
• Ensure seamless integration of new platforms and systems while maintaining stable BAU operations.
• Drive digital transformation through the adoption of modern technologies, including public cloud, machine learning, blockchain, and AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Partner with global technology teams, particularly in Europe, to align regional delivery with global priorities and standards.
• Build strong relationships with Asia Equity business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions remain commercially relevant and deliver business value.
• Promote best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and agile delivery to accelerate speed, quality, and scalability.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or technology delivery.
• Proven track record as a Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role within a global Capital Markets environment.
• Strong understanding of Equity products, including Equity Finance, Delta One, and related trading platforms.
• Advanced programming skills in C#, C++, and/or Java, with hands-on experience developing enterprise applications and web service APIs.
• Proven experience designing and delivering solutions on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of software delivery and production support frameworks, including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Experience with modern development and infrastructure technologies including .NET, C++, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK Stack, and public cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling such as GitLab, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
