Job summary

bolttech is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with the CFO - Technology and Group Finance. You will combine strong Excel modelling, AI-enabled analysis and practical decision support to drive financial insights for a fast-moving technology function.

You'll collaborate with Technology leadership and stakeholders across the business to deliver CFO-level reporting, budgets and cost governance, translating data into clear recommendations that support strategic decisions and value creation.

Qualifications

3–6 years of finance analysis or finance business partnering experience.
Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
Strong analytical skills with Excel modelling and data interpretation.
Strong PowerPoint skills for CFO-level reporting.
Experience preparing CFO-level management reporting including technology cost summaries and variance analysis.
Strong interest and practical capability in AI for finance.
Experience with cloud cost management or FinOps tools an advantage.
Ability to connect data, technology activity and financial outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

Prepare CFO - Technology reporting with cost summaries, forecasts, risks and opportunities for senior decision-making.
Support governance and controls for Technology spend; ensure policy compliance and audit readiness.
Assist with audit requests including asset capitalization, project documentation and impairment analysis.
Partner with Technology, Finance and business units to align spend with budgets and priorities.
Manage global Technology budget across cloud, software, infrastructure, people and projects.
Analyze cloud, software, maintenance, vendor and infrastructure costs to identify cost drivers and optimization opportunities.
Support business cases and financial analysis for key Technology initiatives including AI investments.
Coordinate with Product, Engineering, People, Tax and regional teams to provide financial insight on Technology costs.
Build and improve AI tools, prompts, agents and automated workflows to streamline reporting.
