Job summary

HFG Insurance Recruitment is seeking a principal Finance Business Partner to Technology to deliver strategic financial advice to senior Technology leadership. You will lead planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for the Technology function and develop scenarios to inform major investments.

You will partner with Technology leadership on cost optimisation, ERP and transformation programmes, provide ROI analysis and financial insights to support decisions at Board level.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Technology Finance within a large multinational or complex organisation.
• Strong track record partnering with Technology, IT, Digital, Data, Cybersecurity or Transformation functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing significant Technology budgets, financial planning and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, investment appraisal, business case development and ROI analysis.
• Experience supporting large-scale Technology or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of cost allocation, recharge models and shared-service / regional operating models would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including C-suite / Technology leadership.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Provide clear, fact-based financial insights to senior management, Group Finance and Board-level stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop Finance Business Partnering resources supporting Technology.

• Act as a trusted partner to Technology leadership while providing constructive challenge on investment priorities, costs and financial performance.
• Lead, coach and develop Finance Business Partnering resources supporting Technology.
