Job summary

Crossings Executive Search represents a world-renowned financial institution in Hong Kong, seeking a Systems Analyst specialized in Kubernetes support. You will manage daily operations, maintenance, and support for enterprise systems, including Kubernetes-based environments, covering deployment, configuration, monitoring, and incident handling.

Candidate should hold a CS/IT degree, have 4+ years of Kubernetes-focused experience, Docker familiarity, and bilingual English/Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of IT experience covering Kubernetes operations, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes deployment/configuration artifacts.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and incident-management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and support of designated enterprise-scale systems, including standalone and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Administer and support Kubernetes environments, including application deployment, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and operational maintenance.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify repetitive manual operational tasks and improve efficiency, consistency and reliability through scripting, standardisation and workflow automation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of relevant IT experience covering Kubernetes (K8s) operations, including application deployment, configuration management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident resolution
• Familiarity with container technologies, such as Docker, and Kubernetes deployment/configuration artifacts.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and incident-management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese
