Job summary

FWD Group is seeking a seasoned Java software engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable insurance technology solutions. You will contribute to API-first development, data integration, and secure coding practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes Agile delivery, CI/CD adoption, and AI-assisted tooling to enhance software quality and delivery speed. On-site Hong Kong exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of application development experience.
• Candidates with equivalent qualifications and relevant experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions.
• Lead application design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities throughout the SDLC.
• Ensure solution quality through design reviews, testing, documentation, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver projects and enhancements.
