Job summary

China Duty Free Group Co., Ltd. seeks a Supply Chain Director / Logistics & Warehousing to lead international logistics and centralised warehousing. You will establish standards, budgets, and annual plans, then drive their execution across overseas segments and the Asia-Pacific central warehouse.

You will oversee daily overseas fulfilment operations, cost controls, 3PL evaluation, and cross-border coordination with internal and external partners, while developing the team and enhancing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in the field, with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
• Prior experience in retail business is advantageous.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Supply Chain Director / Logistics & Warehousing

System Development and Budget Management: The role involves spearheading the internationalisation of CDF logistics and warehousing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating operational standards and workflows for all aspects of supply chain logistics and fulfilment operations for CDF overseas segments and Asia-Pacific central warehouse. They will also be tasked with establishing and improving supply chain management systems, as well as the development of annual work plans and budgets, and the subsequent organisation of their implementation following approval.

Routine Fulfilment Operation Support: The role involves the responsibility of the daily operational management of the overseas segment of CDF's supply chain business. This includes customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, order tracking and settlement. The successful candidate will provide efficient logistics fulfilment support for companies within the CDF system. The role's responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safe and scientific storage of goods in regional central warehouses
• Procuring supply chain logistics services in compliance with regulations
• Controlling operating costs
• Managing and evaluating 3PL service providers on a daily basis
• Managing the reconciliation and settlement of overseas supply chain wholesale procurement and sales
• Establishing a fulfilment operation monitoring mechanism, tracking the entire process, and collaboratively handling any anomalies discovered during the process

Supply Chain Planning and Analysis: The role involves the use of data monitoring and analysis to evaluate past performance and future trends, optimise existing supply chain fulfilment processes and warehouse network layout, develop new business supply chain planning schemes in line with company strategy, and organise their implementation after approval.

Internal and External Coordination and Team Building: The role involves responsibility for internal and external coordination, as well as maintaining good collaboration with overseas supply chain-related businesses. These include, but are not limited to, customs, logistics service providers, brand owners, retail stores, parent company management departments and business units. The role also involves responsibility for the training and assessment of supply chain talent within the jurisdiction, improving the professional capabilities of team members, and strengthening team building.

You are the perfect one if you are/have:

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.

Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the field, with at least five years in a management capacity. Prior experience in retail business would be advantageous.

Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Mandarin)

The successful candidate will demonstrate an intense sense of responsibility, excellent planning skills, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to execute plans effectively.
