Job summary

Neural Lab in Hong Kong seeks a results-oriented professional to drive Requirements Analysis, product evolution, and architectural governance. You will translate product visions into actionable specifications and support design reviews with lead architects.

You will author internal docs, detail API specifications, and create user stories that align sub-teams with the R&D strategy, ensuring architectural integrity throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience translating product visions into internal specifications.
• Ability to assess architecture with respect to long-term strategy.
• Experience writing internal documentation and design artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to analyze and refine core product requirements and long-term R&D roadmaps.
• Define and maintain functional and non-functional benchmarks for the product, performing deep-dive impact assessments on the existing codebase and architecture for all proposed enhancements.
• Translate high-level product visions into detailed internal specifications, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with the core R&D strategy.
• Partner with Lead Architects to contribute to internal solution design reviews, ensuring new features adhere to the product’s long-term architectural integrity.
• Author and maintain high-fidelity internal documentation, including Technical Solution Designs, API specifications, and Service Support Handbooks for internal engineering use.
• Synthesize complex technical workflows into internal User Stories and Use Case diagrams to align development sub-teams.
• Perform detailed technical estimation for core product features and structural improvements, focusing on R&D sprint cycles rather than external project timelines.
• Review internal test strategies and automated test cases to ensure the product meets rigorous quality standards before moving to the release branch.
• Proactively monitor and mitigate technical debt and "feature creep" that could compromise the scalability or performance of the core product.
• Provide continuous technical guidance to the development team throughout the product lifecycle, serving as a bridge between high-level requirements and technical execution.
