Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Manager of Indirect Procurement to act as a strategic deputy to the Procurement Manager. This role offers autonomy in managing complex categories, driving the procurement lifecycle under tight timelines, and delivering high-quality outputs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of indirect procurement experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience, indirect categories preferred.
• Proven RFx management and vendor negotiation experience.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies and RFx processes with minimal supervision.
• Support Procurement Manager with high-level strategic planning and projects.
• Drive sustainability and ethical sourcing practices with policy audits.
• Lead end-to-end high-value negotiations to maximize value.
• Conduct independent audits of procurement workflows and manage SLAs.
• Deliver spend analytics and value-added recommendations under scrutiny.
• Provide guidance to Senior Officers and ensure deliverables meet standards.
