Job summary

Morgan McKinley Limited is seeking an analytical Purchasing Manager - Commodity Sourcing (IC) to lead strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and supply-chain resilience for the core active components portfolio.

You will drive end-to-end commodity strategies across ICs, memory, SoCs, and camera modules, streamline sourcing pipelines, and negotiate favorable commercial terms with semiconductor manufacturers and distributors. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical/SCM discipline.
• 7–10 years in strategic sourcing/procurement with 4+ years in IC/semiconductor sourcing.
• Experience with MPAs, VMI/BPO, and incoterms.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Strategic Commodity Planning for active components (ICs, DRAM/NAND, SoCs, sensors, cameras).
• Cost Engineering, should-cost analysis, and quarterly business reviews.
• Market intelligence to mitigate supply risks and develop dual-sourcing architectures.
• Oversight of supplier qualification, contract lifecycle, and performance metrics.
• Cross-functional sourcing with Hardware Engineering and Supply Planning teams.
