Job summary

LRQA is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance integration across nine entities in HK, India, and other regions. The role combines hands-on financial work with building a scalable future-state finance function and training the team post-integration.

The candidate will manage opening balance sheets, period-end closure, and reporting, ensuring compliance and alignment with LRQA processes throughout the TSA and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA or CFA/CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of experience with >8 years in people management in accounting/ FP&A.
• Strong leadership, hands-on capability, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own finance carve-out across transition phases and lead the new finance team.
• Govern TSA scope, ownership and readiness criteria for each workstream.
• Prepare opening balance sheet and entity configurations for nine entities; perform mappings and sign-off.
• Lead and develop the 4 FTEs across Hong Kong and India in G/L, A/P, A/R, and reporting.
• Oversee detailed finance work to prove future-state processes before handover.
• Track progress, risks, dependencies, assumptions and deviations against TSA plan.
