Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking a strategic Financial Controller to oversee group-level reporting for a premier Hong Kong conglomerate in logistics and supply chain.

You will lead multi-entity consolidations, ensure HKFRS/IFRS compliance, manage auditors and regulators, and drive budgeting and financial modelling for executive decision-making. English, Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency required, with at least 10–12 years post-qualification experience and HKICPA qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance from a reputable university,
• HKICPA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 10-12 years post-qualification experience, with at least 4 years in a team leadership role focusing on group reporting.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or conglomerate; Big 4 audit background advantageous.
• Expertise in HKFRS/IFRS standards and hands-on proficiency with ERP systems.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial consolidation process for all regional logistics business units.
• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and regulatory filings in accordance with HKFRS/IFRS and relevant listing requirements.
• Direct technical accounting research on complex transaction structures, corporate restructuring, and evolving accounting standards.
• Manage key external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, financial regulators, and legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive group-wide budget consolidation, financial modeling, and management reporting for board-level presentations.
• Optimise financial systems, standardise group reporting policies, and strengthen internal control frameworks to mitigate operational risk.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related discipline from a reputable university.

• HKICPA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is mandatory.

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 4 years in a team leadership role focusing on group reporting and managing sizable teams

• Strong background within a logistics, supply chain, or commercial conglomerate; prior Big 4 audit background is highly advantageous.

• Expertise in HKFRS / IFRS standards and hands-on proficiency with tier-one ERP systems

• Proven track record in stakeholder management, financial process automation, and change management.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
