Job summary

SNAPGO SERVICE LIMITED in Hong Kong is seeking a dedicated stage technician to support live performances and exhibitions. You will assist in setting up, changeovers and installation of stage equipment and scenery, and help ensure smooth rehearsals and events.

The role requires operating and erecting stage facilities such as computerized flying systems, draperies, risers and related gear, plus overseeing move-ins and move-outs, monitoring safe backstage procedures and assisting the stage

Qualifications

• Prefer knowledge/experience in operation of stage facilities.
• Able to work shifts, including Saturdays and General Holiday.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, changeover and installation of stage equipment and scenery for rehearsals, performances and exhibitions.
• Operate and erect stage facilities and equipment such as flying system, draperies, risers and related gear.
• Oversee and assist in move-in and move-out of hirers' equipment.
• Monitor safe working procedures and backstage operations at the venue.
• Inspect backstage areas (including dressing rooms) and report irregularities for rectification.
• Assist in general supporting duties of the stage management team.
