Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Hong Kong is seeking a senior middleware architect to design and optimize microservice governance, RPC frameworks, and data middlewares. You will lead architecture decisions for high availability, scalability, and security, while aligning with business requirements.

The role requires deep expertise in Spring Cloud, Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and distributed systems; you will mentor teams, evaluate new technologies, and drive best practices across the middleware stack.

Qualifications

• Over 6 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years of middleware or distributed system architecture design, and successful large-scale projects.
• Proficient in microservice architecture design and implementation, familiar with RPC frameworks such as Spring Cloud and Dubbo, and messaging middlewares like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Deep understanding of NoSQL databases such as Redis and MongoDB, as well as relational databases like MySQL.
• Familiar with Elastic Search.
• Experience with configuration centers such as Nacos and Apollo, and with Kong API Gateway and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of distributed coordination services such as etcd and Zookeeper, and exposure to ServiceMesh, Sidecar, and eBPF.
• Top-level design capabilities for complex systems, able to independently complete the entire process from requirement analysis to technical solution design.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall architecture design and optimization of microservice governance frameworks (e.g., SpringCloud), RPC frameworks, MQ messaging middlewares (e.g., Kafka), and data middlewares (MySQL, Redis, Elastic Search).
• Conduct in-depth research and select appropriate technical solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the system.
• Proficient in microservices frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, responsible for customized development and performance tuning.
• Understand RPC communication mechanisms and message queues, optimize transmission efficiency and data consistency in distributed systems.
• Design efficient data storage solutions aligned with business requirements, optimize data access performance and cost.
• Oversee deployment, monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and incident response of middleware systems to improve stability.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, introduce new technologies and promote team capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Responsible for the overall architecture design and optimization of microservice governance frameworks (e.g., SpringCloud), RPC frameworks, MQ messaging middlewares (e.g., Kafka), and data middlewares (including RDB databases such as MySQL, NOSQL such as Redis, Elastic Search, etc.).
2. Conduct in-depth research and select appropriate technical solutions, driving the selection and implementation of middleware technologies to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the system.
3. Proficient in microservices frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, responsible for customized development and performance tuning of the frameworks.
4. Deep understanding of RPC communication mechanisms and the working principles of message queues, optimizing message transmission efficiency and resolving data consistency issues in distributed systems.
5. Combine business requirements to design efficient data storage solutions, optimizing data access performance and cost.
6. Responsible for the integrated deployment, monitoring and alerting, troubleshooting, and emergency response of middleware systems, improving operational efficiency and system stability.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, introduce new technologies and concepts, and promote team technical capabilities.

What We Look For In You

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with a solid foundation in computer science.
2. Over6 years of software development experience, with at least4 years of experience in middleware or distributed system architecture design, and successful cases of large-scale project or complex system architecture design.
3. Proficient in microservice architecture design and implementation, familiar with RPC frameworks such as Spring Cloud and Dubbo, as well as messaging middlewares like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
4. Deep understanding of the design and optimization of NoSQL databases such as Redis and MongoDB, as well as relational databases like MySQL.
5. Familiar with the use and optimization of search engines such as Elastic Search.
6. Practical experience with configuration centers such as Nacos and Apollo, as well as containerization technologies like Kong API Gateway and Kubernetes (K8S).
7. Understanding of distributed coordination services such as etcd and Zookeeper, and have some understanding and practical experience in cutting-edge technologies such as ServiceMesh, Sidecar, and eBPF.
8. Possess top-level design capabilities for complex systems, able to independently complete the entire process from requirement analysis to technical solution design.<
