Job summary

Amgen in Hong Kong is seeking a Sr Biopharmaceutical Representative – Bone to lead product promotion within the local territory. You will work under the Sales Manager to develop POA and key account plans, delivering key product messages to healthcare professionals, and executing sales and marketing programs to meet quarterly targets.

The role requires 3+ years in pharma sales, Cantonese and English fluency, CRM/MS Office experience, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in sales-related roles.
• Local healthcare environment knowledge.
• Experience with CRM databases and MS Office.
• Fluency in Cantonese & English, both written and spoken.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Promote Amgen’s products within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed the quarterly sales target.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to develop and execute territory POA and key account plans.

What you will do

Reporting to the Sales Manager, Sr Biopharmaceutical Rep is accountable for:

• Promote Amgen’s products within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed the quarterly sales target
• Collaborates with Sales Manager to develop and execute territory POA and key account plans. Achieve POA
• Deliver responsible product(s)’ key messages to target customers
• Execute Sales and Marketing activities / program and delivered the agreed results
• Evaluates progress timely with Sales Manager and adjust the action plan if needed
• Contributes to Cross Functional Teams meetings (Medical Affairs/Key Account Manager, etc.) to align on the objectives/responsibilities of Sales & Marketing programs
• Learn and share with peers and the Sales Manager to acquire best practices
• Identify, gather and analyses competitive information
• Follow through on customer commitments in a timely fashion to establish the customer relationship
• Reports promotion activities in the CRM system and ensures account profiles are kept up-to-date
• Demonstrates Amgen requires sales capabilities (e.g. Performance 4 selling skills & Advanced Strategic Account Management etc).
• Operates within the agreed sales expense budget aligned with POA priorities
• Seeks advice and assistance to organize activities
• Continuously enhance product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs. Drives personal development

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in sales-related job. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Biopharmaceutical Representative
• Basic knowledge of and experience in the local healthcare environment
• Some experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
• Fluency in Cantonese & English, both in oral and written communication
• Team player

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or (bio) medical sciences are preferred
• Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles
• Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels
• Exposure to project management principles
