Job summary

Amgen in Hong Kong is hiring a Sr Biopharmaceutical Representative – Bone to drive product promotion in the territory and achieve sales targets. You will collaborate with the Sales Manager to implement territory plans, deliver key messages to customers, and execute sales and marketing activities with cross-functional teams.

The role requires at least 3 years in pharma sales, Cantonese and English fluency, knowledge of CRM systems, and a Bachelor’s degree in science or related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in sales-related role.
• Fluency in Cantonese & English, both in oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote Amgen’s products within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed the quarterly sales target.
• Collaborates with Sales Manager to develop and execute territory POA and key account plans and deliver messaging to customers.
• Execute sales and marketing activities and programs to deliver agreed results.
• Maintain CRM activity and account profiles, and report progress to Sales Manager.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Sales Manager, Sr Biopharmaceutical Rep is accountable for:

• Promote Amgen’s products within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed the quarterly sales target

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Sales Manager to develop and execute territory POA and key account plans. Achieve POA
• Deliver responsible product(s)’ key messages to target customers
• Execute Sales and Marketing activities / program and delivered the agreed results
• Evaluates progress timely with Sales Manager and adjust the action plan if needed
• Contributes to Cross Functional Teams meetings (Medical Affairs/Key Account Manager, etc.) to align on the objectives/responsibilities of Sales & Marketing programs
• Learn and share with peers and the Sales Manager to acquire best practices
• Identify, gather and analyses competitive information
• Follow through on customer commitments in a timely fashion to establish the customer relationship
• Reports promotion activities in the CRM system and ensures account profiles are kept up-to-date
• Demonstrates Amgen requires sales capabilities (e.g. Performance 4 selling skills & Advanced Strategic Account Management etc).
• Operates within the agreed sales expense budget aligned with POA priorities
• Seeks advice and assistance to organize activities
• Continuously enhance product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs. Drives personal development

Minimum Requirements

What we expect of you

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in sales-related job. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Biopharmaceutical Representative
• Basic knowledge of and experience in the local healthcare environment
• Some experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
• Fluency in Cantonese & English, both in oral and written communication
• Team player

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or (bio) medical sciences are preferred
• Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles
• Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels
• Exposure to project management principles
