Job summary

Everbright Securities International is seeking a Sponsor Principal for Corporate Finance at the Executive Director/SVP level in Hong Kong. You will supervise IPOs, financial advisory, takeovers and other fund-raising activities, and lead deal origination and evaluation.

You will manage due diligence, internal approvals, and coordinate with clients, professional parties and regulators, including the Stock Exchange and SFC, to ensure compliant, timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, or law; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• SFC Type 1 and Type 6 RO licenses required or eligible.
• 8–12 years HK IPO/corporate finance experience with supervising deals.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular market and strategy updates to sales teams.
• Supervise IPOs, financial advisory, takeovers, M&A and other fund-raising activities.
• Manage due diligence, record keeping, and internal/compliance work.
• Communicate with clients, professional parties and regulators including HKEX and the SFC.
• Assist department head to manage corporate finance transactions and approvals.
• Originate/evaluate potential deals and manage client relationships.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/law

MBA, CPA and/or CFA preferred
