Job summary

Pirata Group is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership. You will support the Head Chef as the second in command, ensuring your section is ready for service and dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

You will handle back-of-house duties such as stock take, staff training, and maintaining health and hygiene. This role offers opportunities in a fast-paced Italian kitchen with potential incentives and growth.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is a must; other languages are advantageous.
• Knowledge of western cuisine preferably Italian.

You will also take ownership of back of house duties such as stock take and staff training.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef, or 3+ years experience working in the kitchen
• Knowledge of western cuisine preferably Italian
• Positive attitude with teamwork mindset
• Sense of responsibility for your role
• Fluency in English is a must, other languages are advantageous
