Pirata Group in Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in a fast-paced kitchen. You will ensure your section is ready for service and prepare dishes promptly to exacting standards while embodying Pirata Group’s values.

In this role you will manage back‑of‑house duties such as stock takes, staff training, and collaborating with a multicultural team. English fluency is required, and Western cuisine knowledge is a plus as you contribute to guest experiences across our

Competenze

• 1 year+ experience as Sous Chef, or 3+ years in kitchen.
• Knowledge of Western cuisine preferred.
• Fluency in English is essential.

We're now looking for a dynamic Sous Chef to join Pirata Group.

You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen, supporting the Head Chef as the second in command in kitchen operations. You will ensure that your section is ready for service, and that you prepare the dishes promptly to the expected standards. You will also take ownership of back of house duties such as stock take and staff training.

• Cook dishes in a timely manner up to restaurant standards
• Support colleagues when needed
• Maintain adherence to health and hygiene procedures
• Manage and control stock
• Oversee and train team members

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef, or 3+ years experience working in the kitchen
• Knowledge of western cuisine preferably Western Cuisine
• Positive attitude with teamwork mindset
• Sense of responsibility for your role
• Fluency in English is a must, other languages are advantageous
