Solution Architect (Video Analytics, VA)

Responsibilities

• Build VA (video analytics) software application, for early engagement with customers by prototyping, and to propose, develop, and deploy winning solution based on VA and VMS (video management system) technology.
• Work with team to propose appropriate solutions for our clients.
• Understand the customer pain points, architect solution and build VA application for Proof Of Concept (POC) by training various VA model in short time
• Work closely with pre-sale team to map out functional and technical architecture, and cost estimation
• Based on VA prototyping for POC, work with solution partner to integrate partner's software components, or develop the solution in house, according to specification.
• Able to deploy solution based on linux/windows in data centre or on customer’s premise without internet

Project Management Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project delivery teams to deliver the revenue and profit targets for the key client account.
• Lead and manage the customer solution team during the pre-tender, tender or trial stages to help in winning new contracts.
• Manage a team to ensure timely delivery of services to the customers in a cost-effective manner.
• Establish responsive business relationship with customers including problem reporting, escalation and resolution processes.
• Manage risk and the impact of customer change requests, hence identifying all the downstream implications to services, timelines and costs.
• Manage and monitor the budget and control costs to ensure maximum achievement of revenue and margin.
• Constantly look out for new technologies applicable in the sector and work closely with LOBs to ensure that the competency is built for the sector to deploy such technologies, developing deep engineering capabilities in the organization.
• Build and maintain strong partner relationships with key vendors and contractors to serve the clients requirements.
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Fronting Unit) and external groups (e.g. vendors) in having close relationship with customers to serve their current and future needs in their respective sectors.

Senior Consultant (Video Analytic / VA)

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Consultant (Video Analytic / VA).

Senior Consultant Responsibilities

• To build VA application or solution for Proof Of Concept (POC)
• Work closely with pre-sale team to map out functional and technical architecture, and cost estimation
• Based on VA prototyping for POC, work with solution partner to integrate partner's software/hardware components, or develop with partner, according to tender specification
• Advice or propose solution for tender requirement in short time

Job Requirements

Solution Architect Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in customizing VA network layer
• Experience in object tracking and Re-ID is plus
• Good awareness of the transport market dynamics and products in VA domains
• Familiar with Linux, bash script, python, OpenCV, C/C++, github, Docker, Apache, Base64, protobuffer
• Knowledgeable in develop API for VA engine, by using restful, MQTT, AMQT.
• Knowledgeable in main stream VA framework like Caffe, Tensorflow, Openvino
• Able to tag event on VMS with exact timestamp from GPS / IOT sensor
• Experience in integrating VA to application for matching or searching or alert
• Able to demonstrate how to run thru: https://github.com/weiliu89/caffe/tree/ssd in Ubuntu during interview
• Familiar with ffmpeg video streaming, able calibrate camera optical distortion by OpenCV scripts.
• Label collected data, transfer learning on Tensorflow or Openvino, is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English and Putonghua
• Enthusiasm in new technologies (e.g., video analytics, IoT, AI)

Project Management Requirements

• At least 8 years’ experiences in Project Management capabilities for large scale application development projects.
• Proven track record in assuming overall responsibility and managing multi-million dollars projects in both the government and commercial sectors.
• Excellent communications and able to work well with executive level and management staff.
• Client focused and strong organization and project management skills.
• Ability to lead multiple teams to deliver robust IT services.
• Drive and follow up on continuously process improvement exercise in the teams
• Proven record of successful staff management in areas of recruitment, performance appraisal and professional development.
• Passionate about new technology

Senior Consultant Requirements

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 1 year in computer system developing experience, with primarily focus in embedded devices or Video Analytic or Deep Learning
• We also welcome students with 1-year interim experiences
• Experience in customizing VA network layer and integrating VA to application like matching or searching or alter
• Experience in face tracking and scoring is plus
• Good awareness of the market dynamics and products in public safety domains
• Familiar with Linux, bash script, python, OpenCV, C/C++, github, Docker, Apache, Base64, protobuffer is preferable
• Able to develop API for embedded device. Familiar with Restful, MQTT, AMQT
