Job Description

• Lead the development of the application architecture and facilitate its adoption; review technology selection and system designs for compliance with established architecture
• Lead in delivering the architectural design of enterprise scale, end-to-end solution for major projects;
• Work with the Business Analyst to understand business requirements and to map business needs to technical solutions.
• Provide hands‑on solution design, technical specification and guidance on development and integrations
• Creating the optimum technical solution in the context of the customer's environment, requirements, and financial resources
• Maximizing the productivity of the development team by installing an effective development environment, establishing programming, design, and other technical standards, training team members, and providing advisory and trouble‑shooting support
• Responsible for all technical aspects of systems integration and configuration.
• Travel abroad if necessary

Job Requirements

• Degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Have 10+ years of experience in technology with at least 2 years of architectural responsibilities (solution or application architecture)
• Related experience in insurance applications is a plus
• Strong experience in System Integration (SI) architecture solution design and delivery with diverse technology spectrum
• Possess strategic insight with the ability to integrate the latest technologies into the architecture design to elevate the performance of the overall solutions
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating multiple IT groups, service providers and business users in application development and support
• Strong knowledge in application development methodologies, Service Oriented Architecture, object-oriented analysis and design, Web Service development, Message-oriented Middleware, Java EE implementation, RDMS and NOSQL, etc.
• Experience on SOA and BPM implementation is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work independently and with cross-function teams
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficiency in Putonghua is a strong advantage
