Cathay Pacific Airways Limited seeks a Solution Analyst for Cathay Subsidiary Services to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications across subsidiaries such as Cathay Dining, Cathay Cargo Terminal, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry.

You will work with stakeholders, internal IT teams and vendors, lead solution analysis for medium to large initiatives, and contribute to architecture, data and non-functional requirements while driving AI and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in application development and support, including leading solution analysis for medium to complex initiatives
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across business, IT and vendors
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities with proven troubleshooting capability
• Agile delivery experience is an advantage
• Good understanding of technology concepts, trends and capabilities
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Solution Specialist role

Responsabilités

• Lead requirements analysis and evaluate solution options across functional, technical, integration, data, security and operational dimensions

• Own delivery of complex initiatives including planning, stakeholder coordination and regular status reporting
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve business processes, user experience and operational efficiency through technology
• Drive the adoption of AI, automation and Power Platform solutions, and develop simple prototypes, low-code applications, workflows and AI agents to validate ideas and accelerate business value

Role Introduction

Reports to: Portfolio Solution Manager - Cathay Subsidiary Services

You will be part of the Information Technology Department (IMT), seated within the Cathay Subsidiary Services (CSS) unit, the centralised support function providing subject matter expertise to our subsidiaries, including Cathay Dining, Cathay Cargo Terminal, HAS by Cathay, and Vogue Laundry.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams and external vendors to deliver effective digital solutions. You will be responsible for analysing business needs and shaping end to end solutions by translating requirements into clear functional and technical specifications that support business outcomes.

You will gain exposure to complex enterprise systems, lead solution analysis for medium to large initiatives, and further develop your solution design, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
