Job summary

Visutech Asia Limited is seeking a software engineer in Hong Kong to identify up-to-date technology, especially AI, and design robust IoT architecture. The role involves developing new features, integrating UI with the server, and improving data dashboards.

The candidate will work with Python for data extraction, optimize algorithms, and ensure data integrity across sources. Clean coding practices and knowledge of Vue.js or Node.js are valuable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline required.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies with emphasis on Vue.js or Node.js is a plus.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Identify and adopt up-to-date technology, including AI, and develop architecture for IoT products.
• Design and develop new software features and functionalities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software systems.
• Develop and enhance data dashboards.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI with server-side logic.
• Assist in database design, optimisation and maintenance.
• Document software specifications and technical requirements.
• Obtain data from web pages using Python packages.
• Develop optimization algorithms and forecasting models to enhance system performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize implemented models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Filter out invalid data from various data sources to maintain data integrity.
