Job summary

Aptsys Technology Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a Diploma-qualified developer to join our software team in Hong Kong. You will work on backend web services, databases, and CMS, while building secure, high-availability applications and contributing across the development lifecycle.

You will analyze requirements, write quality code, test and debug, and help implement best practices for release and deployment. Good communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend development and data-driven applications.
• Understanding of database design and integration with services.
• Familiarity with API design, security practices and deployment processes.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and debugging.

What you will be working on:

• Produce and manage backend web services, database, content management system.

• Development, maintenance and security of IT software and applications

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high availability and performance

• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and improve the quality of the code

• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging

• Enforce best practices in code quality and release/deployment process to achieve near-zero production incidents

• Design and work with Backend Technology, Security, Web API and Payment Gateway.
  

What we are looking for:

• Diploma in Computer Science or a related field or a combination of related experience and education

• Candidates with no work experience but have good knowledge of backend development are welcome to apply

• Experience in software implementation, requirements gathering, systems analysis and functional design

• Good communication, analytical & troubleshooting skills
