Job summary

St. James' Settlement 聖雅各福群會 is seeking a Manager (Kindergarten Social Work Service) for a contract role. The position oversees kindergarten social work services, supports program development, and liaises with stakeholders to promote high-quality care in pre-school settings.

The candidate will lead a team of social workers and clerical staff in Central & Western District and Chai Wan. The ideal candidate holds an RSW and a degree in social work, with at least five years post-degree experience in

• Registered social worker (RSW) with a degree in social work or above.
• Minimum 5 years of post-degree experience; casework or school social work experience preferred.
• Strong command of English and Chinese; bilingual communication.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic, presentable with strong people management and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kindergarten school social workers, program and clerical staff.
• Assist Senior Manager of Education Services to formulate, implement & evaluate professional service in pre-school settings.
• Develop service projects and clinical services to establish professionalism in the field.
• Liaise with local stakeholders and promote kindergarten school social work services.

Requirements:

• RSW, Degree in Social Work or above
• At least 5 years of post-degree experience (casework or school social work services preferable)
• Good command in English and Chinese
