Job summary

Meds Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on PCB Assembly / Manufacturing Engineer to support SMT manufacturing for electronic and semiconductor products. The engineer will drive process development, yield improvement, equipment optimization, and quality enhancements to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of SMT assembly, IPC standards, and problem-solving, with hands-on soldering experience.

Qualifications

SMT knowledge and hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing.
Familiar with IPC standards and process troubleshooting.
Experience with process validation, equipment qualification, and CAPA.
Lean Six Sigma familiarity and data-driven improvement mindset.
Hands-on experience in soldering, rework, and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain SMT manufacturing processes to meet production, quality, and cost goals.
Lead process capability studies and implement corrective actions to improve yield.
Provide technical support for SMT equipment and related systems to minimize downtime.
Manage NPI processes including pilot builds and ramp-up, and ensure manufacturability of designs.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA and CAPA methodologies.
Provide technical leadership and training to technicians and operators; support audits and customer inspections.
