Job summary

Tokalent is seeking a front-end developer to join its fast-growing Defi protocol team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on building user interfaces, implementing a scalable design system, and delivering responsive web experiences across devices.

You will collaborate with designers, PMs and developers to ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and strong customer satisfaction while maintaining coding standards and design-hand-off practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in front-end web development.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with storybook.js or similar tools is a plus.
• Familiar with Figma and design handoff with designers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in English.

Job description

• Our client is a fast growing Defi protocol that is backed by well known traditional financial institutions and Web3.0 investors

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to create user interfaces and website designs that meet customer and project specifications.
• Work with project managers and designers to ensure that web design and development projects are completed on time and to customer satisfaction.
• Create responsive web designs that are optimized for a variety of devices and screen sizes.
• Test and debug web pages and applications to ensure that they are functioning correctly and meeting project requirements.
• Maintain a design system/component library with atomic design principles
• Contribute to design ops best practices, collaboration and usage of design system/component library and streamline design to development handoff

Qualifications

• Must have:
• At least 2+ years of experience in front-end web development
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React17++, Angular, or Vue.
• Candidates experienced in storybook.js or similar tools to manage a front-end component library is a plus.
• Familiar with Figma and technical evaluation of designs in collaboration with designers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have:
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies and DeFi protocols such as Ethereum, Solidity, and Uniswap.
• Experience with MongoDB is a plus
