Job summary

Time Seventeen seeks a senior engineering leader to guide the production simulation platform. You will set technical direction, build a high-performing team, and ensure reliability and performance across the stack.

You will collaborate with research and product to align roadmap and architecture, while maintaining a high bar for hiring and feedback, within a focused, ownership-driven team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a software or ML engineering team.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, ML infrastructure, or simulation platforms.
• Track record of shipping complex production systems and improving team effectiveness.
• Clear communication and strong prioritization under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and execution priorities for the simulation engineering team.
• Coach engineers, design team structure, and maintain hiring standards.
• Own reliability, performance, observability, and delivery across the simulation stack.
• Coordinate with research and product teams on roadmap and architecture.
