Job summary

MIAPAO INVESTMENT LIMITED is seeking a customer-focused hospitality professional on-site in Hong Kong Island to lead front-of-house operations. You will ensure smooth service, guide guests on menu items, and maintain a clean, attractive dining area.

The role requires early starts, strong English communication, and a positive team player with a willingness to learn in the F&B industry. Experience with POS and coffee preparation is a plus.

Qualifications

Must be able to arrive at 06:30am.
Good command of spoken English. Cantonese / Mandarin are a big+
Good communication skills and positive attitude.
Team player.
Willing to learn and demonstrating interest in the F&B service industry.
Experience in handling a POS & computer tasks is a plus.
Good command in making coffee is a plus.
Neat personal appearance and high level of personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

Handle opening and closing of the shop according to schedule.
Maintain excellent customer service.
Keep the shop tidy and clean.
Know the menu well to guide customers.
Keep merchandising areas organized and attractive.
Supervise front of house team and implement workflow.
Coach staff on sales program and customer approach.
Arrange rosters and manage inventory.
Order food & drinks from suppliers and handle year-end inventory.
Limit wastage of fresh products and adjust orders.
Take decisions, report issues, and ask for help when needed.
Handle customer requests.

Responsibilities

Handle Opening and Closing of the shop depending on the schedule

Coaching staffs on sales program & customer’s approach (welcome, answer questions)
Arranging the roster
Ordering Food & Drinks to suppliers & handling the end of year inventory
Limiting wastage of fresh products & adjusting orders
Taking decisions / reporting issues / asking for help in certain situations
Handling customer’s requests

Working hours: 8.25 hours + 1 hour break per shift
Straight Shifts: 06:30-15:45 & 12:15-21:30 (including 1 hour meal break)
