Job summary

Qualifications

• HKSI Type 1 RO qualification or eligible for RO status, including CVAP exam qualification.
• Knowledge of settlement lifecycle, reconciliation, and operational risk management.
• Experience with controls, audit readiness, and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Act as Type 1 Responsible Officer and oversee regulatory compliance for settlement activities.
• Manage end-to-end settlement operations, including trade settlement workflow, reconciliation, and corporate actions as applicable.
• Ensure adherence to HKSI/SFC policies and internal controls; report to stakeholders and regulators as required.
• Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation: policies, SOPs, audit trails, and control testing evidence.
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Finance to address settlement risks and breaches.
