Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer in Hong Kong. The role involves planning and supervision of electrical and instrument installations, with a strong focus on safety and compliance. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in industrial and waste treatment facilities, possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Autodesk. Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise process island (electrical & instrument system) installation to meet project timeline, budget, and required standards during the project.
• Review safety, technical and other documents prepared by supplier, SO, and main-contractors to ensure compliance with procedures and cost control principles.
• Understand, evaluate, and provide technical advice and recommendation for method statement from assembly and erection perspective.
• Interface with sub-contractor during project meetings and other discussions.
• Set-up proper procedures and precautions to meet the Companys Health, Safety and Environment rules and requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor or project management.

Job Requirements

• University degree in Electrical /Instrument/ auto-control or equivalent.
• Above 5 years experiences in the construction, testing, commissioning, operation and/or maintenance of industrial/waste treatment facilities will be preferred.
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications. Preference will be given to those with knowledge in Autodesk and system automation.
• Positive safety attitude and good understanding of relevant statutory safety, health, environmental and quality requirements, engineering standards, codes of practice and procedures.
• Customer and result-oriented, self-motivated, good team player and able to work under pressure.
• Self-driven, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese & spoken Cantonese.
• Willing to work at Site Office during project execution.
