Job summary

The Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association 香港唐氏綜合症協會 is seeking a Director of Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Services to provide direction and strategy for planning, implementing, and monitoring the services, including Jockey Club Tiptop Training Centre, Employment Services Centre and Social Enterprises.

The role will supervise operations, administration and financial management, and seek partnerships to ensure sustainable development of services.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker.
• Degree in Social Work with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Higher Diploma/Cert in Social Work with 10+ years post-qualification experience, 5 in rehabilitation.
• Preferably 3+ years management experience.
• Experience in vocational rehabilitation and/or Social Enterprises.
• Mature, proactive with strong management and leadership in supervising IC.
• Strong writing and communication in Chinese and English.

Job description

Provide direction and strategy to the overall planning, implementing and monitoring of the Association's Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Services (including: Jockey Club Tiptop Training Centre, Employment Services Centre and Social Enterprises)

Maintain and explore partnering relationship to ensure development and sustainability of services

Requirements:

Registered Social Worker

Degree or above in Social Work with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experiences; or

Higher diploma or certificate in Social Work with at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in social work in which 5 years in rehabilitation field

Preferably with at least 3 years management experience

Experience in vocational rehabilitation services and/or Social Enterprises is preferred

Mature and proactive, strong management skill and leadership in supervising IC and directing service development

Good writing and communication skills in both Chinese and English
