Job summary

Trident Trust in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Trust Administrator/Assistant Manager to support the trust department in setting up complex structures and managing ongoing administration. You will work with trusts, foundations, pension plans and EBT structures across jurisdictions, ensuring accurate setup and timely client communications.

The role requires 2–5 years’ relevant experience, familiarity with trust accounting systems, and fluent Putonghua. A university degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a trust company; background in financial, legal or accounting firms considered.
• Familiarity with trust accounting/administration systems.
• Experience in trust and corporate secretarial matters is a bonus.
• University degree preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in Putonghua.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Candidates with professional qualifications or more experience will be considered for Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist trust manager/director in establishing complex trust, foundation, pension plan and EBT structures with underlying entities in different jurisdictions.
• Ensure accurate set-up of all new trust structures and transfer-in of existing trust and company appointments.
• Manage day-to-day administration of trust and company appointments, including maintenance of trust files, kits and banking/custody records.
• Provide timely and accurate administration for all trust and company appointments, ensuring high quality service delivery.
• Issue timely reports, accounts, invoices and replies to client queries.
• Assist offshore trustees in local service delivery for offshore trust appointments.
• Coordinate with Banking Support Officer to manage banking and custody service requirements including bank account opening.
• Assist trust manager to conduct annual reviews of trust and company appointments.
