Job summary

The Bank of East Asia (BEA) is seeking a Treasury Sales professional to support cross‑selling of treasury products to corporate clients in Hong Kong. You will help with product development, marketing and reporting materials, and ensure every trade follows the Bank's standard procedures for regulatory compliance.

You will work with sales teams to achieve objectives, provide treasury advisory services to financial institutions and corporates, execute transactions, and gather interbank market

Qualifications

• University graduate in Finance, Business Management, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Holder of Type 1 and Type 4 license with HKMA / SFC is preferred
• Member of Treasury Markets Association / ECF-TM Qualification in Professional Level II (Role 1) is preferred
• Relevant HKIB qualification will be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years banking experience in which 1-2 years in treasury products sales and advisory related roles.
• Experience in sales and distribution of treasury products or investment marketing is preferred
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is an advantage
• Entry level / Fresh Graduate will also be considered as Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a sales plan with sales team leader to achieve sales objectives and targets through the marketing & sale of treasury products and services
• Provide treasury advisory services to financial institutions and corporate customers and support other business units on treasury marketing
• Execute transactions with internal /external counterparties.
• Support and manage execution of treasury products with customers and the relevant internal and external counterparties
• Gather treasury market intelligence from interbank counterparts to identify suitable new products for clients and provide professional inputs for product development
